Selfish?

My husband and I work very hard for the things we have. Making sure our son and each other have everything we need and deserve. Growing up neither of us were just handed things on a golden plate. Our parents cared for us and made sure we had what we needed but taught us a good life is equal to hard work. I love to help others my heart is sensitive toward people. Sometimes I look past the bad in others to find good. I have been known to let some walk over me but have also learned when to put my foot down. I don't have much sympathy for those who live life waiting for others to hand them things. If you are capable of caring for yourself ..don't be a burden to someone else. My son and husband will never do without because my goal is to provide them with all I can. And along the way I hope to help others as often as I can but don't ask me for something you wouldn't in return give me. So many thoughts on today ...
